T-bill yields flat

Treasury bill yields remained flat at yesterday’s auction held to reissue Rs.9,000 million maturing bills, the Public Debt Department of the Central Bank said.

The three-month, six-month and twelvemonth T-bill yields remained flat at 8.61 percent, 9.64 percent and 10.56 percent, respectively.

The Debt Department stated that the auction was oversubscribed with bids amounting to Rs.14,492 million being received. However, it was decided to accept only Rs.2,720 million worth of bids from the auction.
