Diligent plan in place to make SL a developed nation by 2048: Ruwan

A plan has been deviced with utmost diligence to make Sri Lanka a developed nation by 2048, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said.

"Making Sri Lanka a developed nation by 2048 is not a mere statement but a plan which has been deviced with diligence. Sri Lanka will be rubbing it's shoulders with other developed nations by 2048," Wijewardene told a UNP special convention in Colombo today.

 "Sri Lanka will be made a smart country according to the plan deviced by President Ranil Wickremesinghe. We will not forget our party members as we go along. We are aware that they have made great sacrifices and remained with the party when scores of others had left the UNP in 2020," he said.
