Ven. Hangilielle Gnanawimala Thera is an undergraduate of the Peradeniya University. The prelate who resides in the Sri Sumanarama Maha Viharaya in Yatihalagala spends his time painting murals using natural ingredients such as mud and leaves. He had done many paintings in the temple and is seen working on a painting of late music maestro W.D. Amaradeva. Pix by Chamil Rupasinghe
