Tishani Perera leaves for Miss Grand International 2025

Miss Tishani Perera, who will be representing Sri Lanka at the 12th Miss World Pageant (Miss Grand International 2025), departed from the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, in the early hours of September 29.

The international competition, recognized as one of the world’s leading beauty pageants, will bring together contestants from over 100 countries. It will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 30 to October 18.

Perera, who clinched the Miss Sri Lanka 2025 title at the finals held at the Mount Lavinia Hotel on September 24, left for Bangkok aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-402 at 1.30 a.m. on Sunday.

A student pursuing a degree in International Trade and Management at a local university, Perera was seen off at the airport by her parents, relatives, friends, and the national organizer and coach of the Miss Sri Lanka pageant, Mr. Rukmal Senanayake, who all gathered to wish her success.
