Students receive assistance...

Gampaha district schools were among the communities severely impacted by the recent adverse weather conditions in Sri Lanka. Students at Galahitiyawa Central College, Ganemulla, suffered losses of school equipment, clothing, and other essential items.

In response, Principal Mrs. Udeshika Kariyawasam organized a program at the college in recent days under the theme “Api Wenuwen Api Ekwemu” to provide much-needed support. The initiative aimed to collect and distribute essential items to help affected school children continue their education without disruption.

The program highlighted the school community’s commitment to supporting students during times of hardship and ensuring that educational needs are met despite natural disasters.
