A public gathering themed “No Justice, No Peace! Let Palestine Live!” was staged today by a group of youth near the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo. Organized by Youth for Change, the event called on people to raise their voices in support of Palestine.

In a powerful display of solidarity, participants marched from the Racecourse to the United Nations office, demanding justice and rights for Palestine. Their chants echoed through the streets: “Free, free Palestine! Hands off Palestine! No more war, no genocide, no more power games. Don’t kill children! Occupation is no more! Israel is a terrorist state!”

More than 100 youth from across provinces, breaking religious barriers, came together as one, marching in unison for a common cause. Their determination and passion were palpable as they demanded justice for Palestine. The message was clear: the youth will not be silenced and will continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine until justice is served. Pix by Kithsiri de Mel
