Daily Mirror photographer captured several street lamps lit in the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo today during the day time as the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) announced it would take measures to switch off 50% of all street lamps countrywide with effect from August 1 in order to save electricity.
