Rail line hit by landslide...

The upcountry railway line has been disrupted at Ulapane, near Nawalapitiya. Photos show the railway track severely damaged due to a landslide triggered by the adverse weather conditions. Residents in the area said that a timber store and a car sale outlet were buried, and claimed that about 14 people may have been buried alive.
