Parliament bids adieu to former speaker

The remains of late former Speaker Joseph Michael Perera was brought to the Parliament premises this morning. President Ranil Wickremeisinghe, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene, former Speakers Karu Jayasuriya and Chamal Rajapaksa are seen accompanying the casket carrying the former Speaker’s remains to the Parliament premises.
