Largest container ship arrives

The MSC MARIELLA, known as the world's largest container ship, arrived at the Eastern Container Terminal (ECT) of the Colombo Port yesterday (28). The MSC MARIELLA, belonging to Liberia, West Africa, is 399.90 meters long and 61.30 meters wide. This large ship, which can handle a container weight of 240,737 tons, was manufactured in 2023.
