Kelaniya Duruthu Maha Perahera

The final Randoli Perahera of the Kelaniya Duruthu Maha Perahera took place tonight under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. The Chief Incumbent of the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, the Ven. Kollupitiya Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Thera is seen carrying the golden casket containing the sacred relics, while the President, the Premier and Kelaniya Basnayake Nilame Dhammika Attygalle pay homage to the relics.
