Janaprith Fernando leads Asia Pacific Scouts

Janaprith Fernando appointed Chairman of Volunteer Support Sub Committee, Asia Pacific Region

Janaprith Fernando, Attorney-at-Law and Chief Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association, has been appointed Chairman of the Volunteer Support Sub Committee of the Asia Pacific Region and Membership Director of Asia Pacific Evergreen Scouts at the 28th Asia Pacific Region Scout Conference in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He has also been reappointed as a WOSM Consultant by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, with all appointments for a three-year term. Fernando is the only Sri Lankan elected to both the World Scout Committee (2017-2021) and the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Committee (2012-2017), and has served in multiple leadership roles within scouting since 1979.
