First-ever ’’National Sandalwood Garden’’ inaugurated

The country’s first-ever "National Sandalwood Garden", grown and designed in Sri Jayewardenepura, Battaramulla, was vested with the public recently under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. Sandalwood trees have high medicinal value and provide the perfect place for people to relax with their families and friends. Pix by Nisal Baduge
