The Students' Union of the Medical Faculty of the Colombo University staged a protest at the Lipton Circus today (9) against the government’s move to abolish free education and free healthcare. The police intercepted and obstructed the protesting students who were carrying a coffin to symbolize the death of free education. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
