80th CISM General Assembly kicks off

The 80th General Assembly of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) kicked off today (May 19, 2025) at the Grand Maitland Hotel in Colombo. 
Held under the patronage of Deputy Defence Minister Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd), the event saw participation from top defence officials including the Tri-Forces Commanders.
