Operations of Perpetual Treasuries suspended for another six months

The Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced today its decision to extend the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) from carrying on the business and activities of a Primary Dealer.

With effect from 4.30 pm today (5 July), PTL is suspended from carrying out any business activities for a further period of six months.

The decision is taken to allow the CBSL to continue investigations.
