Nahil Wijesuriya donates Rs.1bn to Little Hearts project

Little Hearts project of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children has received a generous Rs.1 billion donation from leading businessman and East-West Group of Companies Chairman, Nahil Wijesuriya.
The donation is facilitated through the Agnes Wijesuriya Children’s and Elders’ Home.
The substantial funds will be directed towards the installation of the long-awaited air conditioning system for the Cardiac and Critical Care Complex at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital. 
Little Hearts expressed gratitude in a Facebook post, stating that this significant donation from the philanthropist will aid in completing the construction by the end of 2024, enabling the commencement of patient care services.
