Colombo Textiles Group rewards ‘Shop & Win’ Avurudu promotion winners

Colombo Textiles Group of Companies concluded their ‘Shop & Win’ Avurudu promotion which ran from 8th to 30th April at several retail stores across the country. The prize distribution ceremony for the event was recently held at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

The Shop & Win Avurudu promotion, which focused on brands Perri  Allen and Denzo, drew a very positive response from the general public with thousands of entries being received during the 3 week period out of which 8 lucky winners were selected. 

At the event, the top 3 winners took home a return air ticket to Bangkok (1st Prize), a Washing Machine (2nd Prize) and a Pedestal Fan (3rd Prize) while 5 Consolation Prizes were also awarded. The retail stores from which the winners made their purchases were Prasad Textiles of Piliyandala (1st Prize), Supul Collection of Malabe (2nd Prize), and Cheap Side of Akuressa (3rd Prize). The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Colombo Textiles Group of Companies Chairman R.P.S. Samarakkody and Directors Thamara Samarakkody and Shanika Samarakkody, together with distinguished guests 
from several retail store partners. 

Sharing his views about the successful promotion, R.P.S. Samarakkody stated, “Sri Lanka has been going through a difficult period and as a company that has been manufacturing high quality apparels for nearly 30 years, we felt it’s our responsibility to bring some Avurudu holiday cheer to our customers from all parts of the country. I am happy to note that with the help of our retail partners, we were able to conduct a wonderful promotion which drew a strong response from our customers as was evident by the thousands of entries received through the retail stores.”
