CFA awards spotlight SL’s capital-market trailblazers

The CFA Society Sri Lanka marked its 12th annual Capital Market Awards last evening (24 June) honouring individuals and institutions that demonstrated excellence in the country’s capital markets.

The event was attended by key industry figures, including Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman (SEC) Senior Professor Hareendra Dissabandara and Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE)Chairman Dimuthu Abeyesekera.

Awards were presented in six categories; Best Stockbroking Research Team, Best Equity Research Report, Best Sector Research Report, Best Investor Relations, Best Unit Trust Fund, and Best Sustainability Reporting, with Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades in each.
