Wealth, inheritance and gift tax webinar on Nov. 9

The KPMG Sri Lanka Academy is hosting a webinar on wealth, inheritance and gift tax on November 9, at 3:00 p.m.

Wealth tax is a tax that targets a person’s net worth, taking into account their assets and liabilities. During this webinar, a participant will gain insights into how this tax is calculated and its implications. 
Inheritance tax, on the other hand, concerns the assets passed on to heirs after an individual’s passing. 
Gift tax applies to assets given to others during the lifetime.

Othe speakers will highlight recent developments and their implications. Additionally, they will provide insights into future tax considerations, ensuring that a participant is prepared for the evolving tax landscape.
