3WGE Leadership Summit to empower, groom students to be leaders

3WGE will initiate a leadership summit, ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’, which will provide resources, interactive sessions and competitions that encourage leadership among today’s youth.

Together Towards Tomorrow 3WGE Leadership Summit is scheduled to be held on September 25, 2016 at the Sri Lanka Foundation from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admittance to the leadership summit is via invitation and letters have been sent to more than 50 schools. 

Four reputed speakers Sarinda Unamboowe, Nathan Sivagananathan, Toast Masters’ Sandun Fernando and Shuvo Hridayesh will lead the discussions and inspire the students giving the students the opportunity to solve problems and strengthen their creativity, innovation and adaptability through knowledge-sharing, team spirit, interaction and engagement.

Prior to the summit, 3WGE concluded the speech competition where five finalists have been shortlisted. The five students will face the final round at the summit. Additionally, an essay competition was concluded. All participating students will be recognized with certificates and the winners will be rewarded with medals and certificates.
