UoK’s Master of Professional Finance Programme earns CFA Institute recognition

CFA Society Sri Lanka President Aruna Perera, CFA presented CFA Institute University Affiliation certificate to University of Kelaniya Finance Department Head Dr. Ruwani Fernando in the presence of officials of CFA Society Sri Lanka, academic staff of University of Kelaniya Finance Department and students of Master of Professional Finance Programme 

The University of Kelaniya (UoK) recently announced its inclusion in the esteemed CFA Institute University Affiliation Programme, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to shaping the future of finance professionals. 
This recognition by the CFA Institute, a globally recognised symbol of excellence in finance, is the third in a series, following the acknowledgment of two other degree programmes at the UoK.
The Master of Professional Finance programme offered by the Finance Department, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, UoK, has garnered acclaim for its alignment with more than 70 percent of the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and its unwavering commitment to the principles enshrined in the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. This recognition places the students in an advantageous position to embark on the journey toward obtaining the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, a universally respected credential in the global financial landscape.
