Sri Lanka–Indonesia Business Council advances trade and startup partnerships

The Sri Lanka–Indonesia Business Council (SLIBC) of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce concluded a Business Promotion Mission to Indonesia, securing promising links in renewable energy, digital services, and startup collaboration.

Held from October 14-18, the mission was led by Sampath Jayasundara, CEO of hSenid Business Solutions and Executive Committee Member of SLIBC. 

The delegates participated in ‘Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI)’ - the country’s premier international trade event inaugurated by Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia - which drew over 1,000 exhibitors and thousands of global participants. The Sri Lankan delegation engaged with leading business organizations including the Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI), KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and APINDO (Employers’ Association of Indonesia) to explore cooperation in renewable energy, digital innovation, tourism, and trade facilitation.
