PABC Sports Club powers Marians’ ‘Clarence Unplugged’

The popular band, Marians performed at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) recently providing an evening full of acoustic music and dazzling entertainment to a full house. 

This event, which showcased Marians’ popular show, ‘Clarence Unplugged’, was organised by the Sports Club of Pan Asia Bank. 

This year, the versatile band marked yet another significant milestone as the show was performed for the ninth consecutive year in 2016 since it first began in 2008 making it a monumental event for Marians and the group leader Nalin Perera, who welcomed everyone to witness and feel completely a different musical experience. 

“We have come a long way since we first played Clarence Unplugged back in 2008. I can say that our music has improved considerably since then. The show was a special performance as the band has mixed some of the world’s best music styles into our music. So, as a versatile band, we make people happy with quality music,” he said speaking at the show. Commenting on the event, Pan Asia Bank Sports Club President Udaya Thuduwewaththa stated that he is proud to be part of the team that is organising such a magnificent event of the bank which has revolutionized the banking industry in recent times. He also commented that it is fitting that a top-level band such as Marians performing at this monumental event which will provide an unforgettable experience to the music-loving people in this country.
