NCC’s National Business Excellence Awards on Nov. 30

The National Chamber of Commerce (NCC) takes pleasure to announce the grand award ceremony of National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2016 for the 13th consecutive year, on November 30, 2016, at Hilton Colombo. 

 The chief guest for the occasion will be Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy. The event will be held amidst a large distinguished gathering of leading business organisations, diplomats, high-ranking officials and invitees and guests. 
Being one of the pioneering awards competitions started as way back as 2004 by the NCC, the NBEA, over the years, has maintained its high standard at the top and gained much recognition and prestige among the business community as a well-structured awards scheme and today has become the symbol of ‘excellence’ for the best of the best businesses in Sri Lanka.

Many corporate establishments entered with much enthusiasm  to compete in this now very popular competition with its new evaluation model scheme and criteria under a newly structured evaluation model of seven perspectives: excellence in leadership, excellence in corporate governance, excellence in capacity building, excellence in performance management, excellence in local and global market reach, excellence in corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability and excellence in business and financial results. 

There will be over 100 awards presented to the winners this year, including the overall winners 2016 for Gold, Silver and Bronze. The competition is comprised of categories: Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small and Micro and Diversified Industry Sectors.
