Leema Creations clinches CNCI National Award for sixth year

Leema Creations (Pvt) Ltd, the leading interior solution provider in Sri Lanka had been recognized with a National Award for Large Category Business at CNCI Achiever of the Year 2016.

 This is the sixth occasion CNCI has bestowed the national honour on Leema Creations. Channa Wijesekara, Managing Director and  Shamika Wijesekara, Director/CEO received the accolade at a Ceremony held at Hotel Galadari on August 18th .

Leema Creations is a commercial entity geared to provide the clients with the beauty, innovation and cutting edge precision interior solution through direct access to a professional team of Interior Designers and expert technical team from the inception of a project. By way of providing the assistance of professionals, Leema creates a distinctive difference in the space made available for re-decoration and beautification. 
The intention of Leema is to provide all services at the most reasonable and affordable price to the customer. In addition, their aim is to be with the client as long as they retain the products they have supplied through a well-structured customer care programme on par with ISO 9001:2008 standards.

The Company’s processes are based on ISO 9001:2008 standards. The management of Leema is consistent in providing internal and external training to staff on what they believe in as good business practice. The staff is constantly exposed to external training programmes & forums on technical subject matters pertaining to the above factors. In addition, prominent personalities are brought in regularly to speak on subjects such as creativity, attitudes, customer care etc. The subject of brand values and client service is discussed in almost all regular internal staff meetings in order to drive the concept as deep as possible. Regular meetings on ISO processes are also conducted on 
quality matters. 

The 60,000 square foot manufacturing plant of Leema Creations is located at Dompe is one of the main contributing factors for winning awards. The area of operation of the plant is scheduled to be increased by further 20,000 sq.ft by end of the year. The Factory is one of the most advanced in Sri Lanka. A combination of computerized equipment and fine craftsmanship ensures exact execution of the detailed projects. Leema’s highly trained and skilled production team work with state-of-the-art equipment  and a host of other standard tools.

The Managing Director, Channa Wijesekara is an incorporated civil engineer passed out from University of Moratuwa and trained in Germany on ‘Wood Technology. He is the incumbent President of Wood Based Industrialists association and the Chairman of Advisory Council to the Ministry of Industries on wood 
based industry. 

Wijesekara has written several books on wood technology and usage of carpentry tools during the past years. He has recently launched the latest valuable book on the usage of hand tools which will be of immense help to young students learning 
wood technology.
