Deniyaya  Kingsbru Tea Factory wins Gold National Industrial Award

The Kingsbru Tea Factory, Deniyaya has won the Gold National Industrial Award for Bulk & Flavoured Tea manufacture under Medium Scale Sector in the National Industry Excellence Award - 2023, conducted by the Ministry of Industries and Industrial Development Board at the Nelumpokuna Theater. The event was held under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the Minister of Industries Ramesh Pathirana.
The Kingsbru Tea Factory was established in 1942 and is currently serving well over 1500 Tea Small Holders in the Matara district (Deniyaya).
