All-time record price for Mattakelle Estate

Mattakelle Estate located in Talawakelle which is renowned for producing high quality teas established an all-time record at the first tea auction for the year 2022, held on 5th January by securing anattractive price of Rs.1,200 per kg for a Dust1 grade, in the Western High Grown Elevation. This line of tea was purchased by Euro-Scan Exports (Pvt) Ltd. 

Mattakelle Estate is managed by Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC and the teas were successfully marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.
