25th Presidential Export Awards today

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) is slated to hold the 25th edition of the Presidential Export Awards (PEA) ceremony today, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The PEA stands as the pinnacle of recognition bestowed by the president upon the exporters who have made exceptional contributions to the country’s export sector and economic advancement. This esteemed accolade seeks to honour and acknowledge the exporters who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in exports, fostering the growth in economic development.  

The PEA was initiated by the EDB in 1981 and it organised 24 ceremonies during the past years. 
PEA 2023 is organised by the EDB under the supervision of Chairman/CEO Dr. Kingsley Bernard and directions of Investment Promotion State Minister Dilum Amunugama and Investment Promotion Ministry Secretary M.M. Nayeemudeen.
