Sancharaka Udawa 2025 takes off

Sri Lanka’s biggest tourism expo, Sancharaka Udawa 2025, took place on 23 and 24 May at the  BMICH with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake leading the launch. 

With 250 stalls spanning hotels, tours, airlines, and travel services, the event showed that Sri Lanka is betting big on tourism.

The goal? US$5 billion in revenue by year’s end, as 2025 is declared the Year of Tourism Renaissance
