UPFA secures Kandy

The United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) has won the General Elections in the Kandy District by polling in 339,819 votes and securing 8 seats while the UNP has obtained 192,798 votes and secured 4 seats. The DNA obtained 23,728 votes but no seats.
