Two relatives sentenced to death

Two relatives, who were found guilty murdering another resident of the same village, were sentenced to death by Puttlam High Court Judge K.Priyantha Fernando.

Aturumanna Pichchege Dannie (49) and Aturumannage Susil Jayasinghe alias Piyaratne (39) of Kunthanigama in Anamaduwa were indicted on charges of having hacked to death Horathalpedi Durayalage Lalith Wickermesinghe (28). (Augustine Fernando)
