Two injured in Kandy market clash

Two people were critically injured in a slash between two groups of vendors in the Kandy market this morning, police said. Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said those involved in the fight were identified and further investigations are being carried out.

The injured are undergoing surgery at the Kandy hospital, hospital sources said. (Sanath Desmond)
