TNA accepts portfolios in EPC

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has decided to accept two ministerial portfolios and the Deputy Chairmanship of the Eastern Provincial Council, TNA Batticaloa parliamentarian P. Ariyanendran said today.

He said the decision was made after a discussion with the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) but the portfolios would be decided at a meeting with TNA leader R. Sampanthan on February 24.

Earlier, SLMC leader and Minister Rauff Hakeem invited the United National Party (UNP), Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and other political parties in the Eastern Provincial Council to form the new administration.
