Thief falls asleep inside wine store

A man who had allegedly broken into a wine store on Ratnapura road with the intention of stealing money was arrested by the Rakwana police. He had fallen asleep after being intoxicated by the alcohol he had consumed while in the store, when the arrest was made.

Police also recovered a pair of pliers, a knife and a screwdriver that was in the possession of the suspect. Investigations are underway. (W.A.Sirisena)
