Seven injured as lightning strikes

Lightning struck a row of small houses in Elpitiya this afternoon injuring seven people. The injured were rushed to the Balapitiya hospital for treatment. Meanwhile the department of meteorology warned people to take precautions from the threat of lightning this evening. (ISA)
