Partial lunar eclipse visible tonight

This year’s first lunar eclipse could be seen in Sri Lanka tonight at 11.34. The partial eclipse takes place as the Moon traverses the Earth’s penumbral shadow.

(A total lunar eclipse occurs when the moon moves across the earth’s umbra shadow.) The partial eclipse will be visible over Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Lunar Eclipse contact times over Sri Lanka are as follows.
