Noori case: Suspects re-remanded till Sept.9

The Avissawela Chief Magistrate Anushka Seneviratne today directed the Controller of Immigration and Emigration to stop the two men involved in the killing of Estate Superintendent Nihal Perera from leaving the country.

The 21 remanded suspects were produced in Courts and re-remanded till September 9 while Anil Champika alias Atha kota was ordered to present himself at an identification parade as a suspect in a case filed by the Police anti-vice squad.(Pushpakumara Mallawarachchi)
