The Meteorology Department said today the existing warm weather conditions will prevail over most parts of the country and that there would be no rains for the next few weeks.

“Mainly, warm weather will prevail over most parts of the Island in the next few days. Showers or thundershowers may occur at few places in the Sabaragamuwa Province after 4.00 p.m. today,” the Duty Meteorologist Srimal Herath said.

Those living in the Sabaragamuwa Province were warned to be on the alert during the thundershowers. (Kalathma Jayawardhane)
