Myown Mustapha out on bail

A Colombo court today released Myown Mustapha on two personal bails of Rs 1 million each, after he was produced in court.

The UNP Parliamentarian had been summoned to court after a complaint was lodged that he had allegedly given Rs. 4.2 million to the then MP Mohammed Musammil of the National Freedom Front to gain his support for the Presidential polls which was held in January. Mustapha was also told to appear in court on July 2. (AW)
