Job fraud: Daddy, daughter derailed

A father and daughter were arrested in Morawaka today on charges of defrauding millions of rupees by duping victims promising them foreign employment.
The 62-year-old father and 39-year-old daughter were arrested by the Sapugaskanda Police early this morning.

The Police said that the suspects had 49 cases pending against them at the Mahara Magistrate’s Court with 98 open warrants pertaining to the cases being issued against them.

The suspects are to be produced before the Mahara Magistrates court shortly
