Indian arrested in Kopai

An Indian national who was on tourist visa was arrested near the Kondavil bus stand yesterday by the Kopai police while he was engaged in selling clothes illegally, police said. The suspect (43) was arrested with 31 Indian coloured sarees and a foot bicycle in his possession. The passport was seized by the Kopai police

The suspect is to be produced before the Jaffna Magistrate today.
