Chinese and Thai girls arrested in Colombo

Twelve Chinese and Thai girls were arrested following a raid carried out by the police and immigration and emigration officers in Colombo last night, police said.

The girls-6 Chinese, 6 Thai- who were on tourist visa are said to be employed in hotels and night clubs when they were arrested.

They are in the custody of immigration and emigration department at the moment and are due to be deported to their respective countries.
