Will not continue Joseph Pararagasingam murder case against ‘Pilliyan’: AG’s Dept. says

The Attorney General’s (AG) Department today informed the Batticaloa High Court that it will not continue Joseph Pararagasingam murder case against Sivanesathuri Chandrakanthan alias ‘Pilliyan.’

The team of officials who represented the AG’s department informed the Court that there was no need for the AG’s department to present evidence in the case and it had not hoped to proceed further with the case.

Meanwhile, the Batticaloa High Court is to deliver the verdict in the murder case of former TNA parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingam on next Wednesday.
