Wife killed, husband injured in motorbike accident

Colombo, June 1 (Daily Mirror) - A woman was killed and her husband injured when the motorbike they were riding collided with a bus plying to Colombo from Hambantota.

The couple was travelling to Kalutara from Beruwala this morning when the bus travelling in the same direction crashed against the motorbike.

Police said the woman had been run over by the bus.

They are residents of Mahawatte, Haburugala.
