Wanindu, Kusal Mendis, and Chamari nominated for ICC awards

Sri Lankan cricketers Wanindu Hasaranga and Kusal Mendis have been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year award for 2024. 

Meanwhile, Chamari Athapaththu, the captain of the Sri Lankan women’s team, has received two nominations. She has been shortlisted for the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year and the ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year awards.
