Validity period of passes issued to deliver essential goods extended

The validity period of the passes issued for the operation of delivery services has been extended till June 21, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He said that the validity period of the said passes was set to expire on June 14.

However, the the period has been extended due extending of travel restrictions, he said.

DIG Rohana urged that the passes issued to supply essential goods to the public not be misused during the period of travel restrictions.(DSB)
