Two youths killed in train tragedy in Dehiwala

Two youths aged 22 were killed and another one injured when they were knocked down by a train at the Dehiwala Railway Station today.

The deceased are a 22-year-old boy from Karandeniya and a 22-year-old girl from Ambalangoda.

A group of 12 students of Balapitiya Vocational Training Centre had travelled by train to visit the Dehiwala Zoo and the three youth met with the tragedy when they were crossing the railway line to take a bus. (H.M. Dharmapala)
