Two injured after part of building collapses in Kandy

Colombo, May 24 (Daily Mirror) - Two people were seriously injured and hospitalised after a part of a building on Cross Street, Kandy collapsed, Police said.

They said the accident occurred when a balcony-like construction of the fourth floor of the building collapsed on to the second floor.

Police added that the two individuals injured in the accident are residents of Hasalaka and Dehiattakandiya, aged between 45 and 50.
