Two fishing vessels intercepted with 200 kg of heroin, ICE off southern seas

Two multi-day fishing craft were intercepted with more than 200 kg of heroin and ICE by the navy off the Southern seas.

The navy has apprehended six suspects along with the drug haul in a joint operation conducted by Sri Lanka Navy, Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) and State Intelligence Service.
